Certification
and accreditation
Each learner who
successfully completes PRP will receive a certificate of achievement
for each part. These are proudly displayed by many successful
learners in their practices. The following
shows how PRP can be used to gain a formal qualification if
required. Please note that in order to gain any formal
qualification you will need to be registered with a centre
accredited by the awarding body. Please contact the awarding
body for further details.
- AMSPAR has recognised PRP 'as suitable for
AMSPAR qualifications' and those learners who successfully
complete the first three parts of the programme are eligible to
take the AMSPAR
Certificate in General Practice Reception.
- PRP is recognised by OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA)
examinations board as providing the underpinning knowledge necessary for the achievement
of competence towards NVQ (Administration) Level 2.
