Introducing ‘Poster corner’

One of the functions of a small educational journal like this is to publish and promote ideas that inform and stimulate others.

Going to medical education conferences, where formal presentations may vary from lectures to workshops, it is increasingly common to have a session based around poster displays.

Small studies, departmental reports and teaching evaluations that may not be large enough or rigorous enough to merit publication in a conventional form often provide the basis for these. Such small-scale projects might not otherwise see the light of day, but nevertheless may be of interest to some of our readership.

We are therefore introducing a new section, Poster Corner, where submission of such presentations will be welcomed. Submissions should be fit on to one or two A4 pages, and be capable of reduction to fit our page size. It is hoped that readers will feel encouraged to comment to us and the authors about ideas displayed, and that this will help the further development of good ideas.
