Peer
review
All main papers are peer reviewed, a process which is
undertaken with the minimum of delay so that those accepted for publication
can be included in the first available issue, and within a maximum of six
months from submission.
The editorial team selects the category of the contribution
- whether Practice and policy reviews, Educational research or Practitioner
research. The editorial team sends the contribution by email to two
peer reviewers per contribution together with a set of peer review
guidelines (covering letter, review
template, review recommendations). The Editor reserves the right to make a final judgement in respect of peer
reviewed submissions and all other submissions, whether invited or
not. Submissions where one of the editors of Work Based Learning in
Primary Care is an author will automatically be submitted to another
member of the editorial team for the management of the process of peer
review.
